The left has expressed discontent for several weeks following the deportation of Kilmar Abrego Garcia to El Salvador due to his connections with the notorious MS-13 cartel. Conservatives highlighted his extensive criminal record, while liberals portrayed him as “a fine and innocent person,” despite evident security risks. In response to the media frenzy, Attorney General Pam Bondi released a substantial collection of documents that confirmed Garcia’s affiliation with the violent gang, supporting Donald Trump’s decision to deport him.
For context, Trump has consistently vowed to remove a significant number of undocumented immigrants from the United States. Since assuming office this year, the president has collaborated with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Director Tom Homan to safeguard the nation from foreign criminals. The Department of Justice subsequently published documents that validated his gang ties and countered the mainstream media’s biased portrayal. A document released on April 16, 2025, stated, “The DHS opposed the Respondent’s request for bond, asserting that he is a verified gang member. The Respondent was arrested alongside other prominent gang members and was confirmed as a ranking member of MS-13 by a credible source. The DHS maintained that the Form I-213 is admissible as a legally reliable document in immigration court.”
In light of the outrage surrounding Garcia, President Donald Trump shared a photo that substantiated Garcia’s status as an MS-13 gang member. He remarked, “This is the hand of the man that the Democrats believe should be allowed back into the United States, as he is such ‘a fine and innocent person.’”
Expanding on this, Trump reaffirmed his campaign commitment to national safety, stating, “They claim he is not a member of MS-13, even though he has MS-13 tattooed on his knuckles, and two highly respected courts have determined that he is indeed a member of MS-13, having assaulted his wife, among other offenses. I was elected to protect…”In the comments section of her post, a number of conservatives rallied in support of the president. One comment stated, “President Trump, please remove these individuals from our country! Additionally, I urge you to prosecute the treasonous DNC and NGOs for their numerous offenses against the American populace. The truth must be revealed! Their leaders deserve to be held accountable!”
The post also included a statement asserting, “Evidence indicates that Kilmar Abrego Garcia has been consistently identified as a member of MS-13 by:

- A credible confidential informant
