BREAKING: Trump Agency Accuses Letitia James of Massive Fraud in Criminal Referral, Pam Bondi Poised to Bring Charges [WATCH]

In a significant development reported by Fox News Channel on the evening of Tuesday, April 15, FNC host Laura Ingraham revealed that the Trump Administration is contemplating new charges against New York Attorney General Letitia James, who is now facing allegations of mortgage fraud.

To provide context, President Trump has a contentious relationship with James, as she has been a prominent figure in the legal actions taken against him. She previously attempted to impose a fine of nearly half a billion dollars, alleging that he misrepresented the value of his assets when applying for loans, which were subsequently repaid in full. Following his election, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi initiated legal proceedings against James, and it seems that another agency is now poised to follow suit.

Ingraham disclosed this startling information during a segment of her program, “The Ingraham Angle,” revealing that the Federal Housing Finance Agency is investigating Attorney General James and has made a criminal referral to the Department of Justice, anticipating that AG Bondi will pursue new charges against her.

In her opening remarks, Ingraham stated, “The Federal Housing Finance Agency has sent a criminal referral to the DOJ accusing James of mortgage fraud. In a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi, Director Bill Pulte indicates that James appears to have falsified records to satisfy specific lending criteria and secure more favorable loan terms.” She further elaborated on the accusations against James, noting, “He referenced a property in Virginia that she allegedly claimed as her primary residence, as well as a property in New York that she represented as a four-unit structure instead of the required five, which Pulte asserts allowed her to obtain a different and more advantageous loan.”In a discussion regarding the situation, legal expert Jonathan Turley articulated that the charges are substantial and carry a sense of irony. He remarked, “The irony is indeed overwhelming. This individual has pursued legal action against Trump for a multitude of offenses, even trivial ones. Among the allegations presented in New York, both in civil and criminal contexts, is the accusation of making false or misleading statements to financial institutions. One of the relevant sections, Section 1014 of the Federal Code, is subject to prosecution. A brief search revealed numerous cases where the Department of Justice has taken action against individuals who falsely declared their property as their primary residence to secure loans. This is a well-established area for the Justice Department. Regarding Letitia James, if we apply the standard she has set, the situation appears quite clear-cut.”

Turley also pointed out that New York Attorney General James seems to have made numerous false statements, stating to Ingraham, “The administration claims that this was not her primary residence. As a New York elected official, she was required to declare her principal residence as being in New York, while this was actually an out-of-state property. Additionally, in some of the forms, she allegedly referred to her father as her husband to file as a married couple. There are many questions surrounding these claims.”

Later, Turley emphasized that the evidence against James seems to be “compelling,” stating, “This type of case has been prosecuted before. We have yet to hear her defense, but the documents in question are quite incriminating. It is difficult to understand how the residences listed could be considered her primary residence, and the situation regarding her father is particularly strange.”
